Game Day Bag Must-Haves
Going to games is a huge part of our lives as coach's wives! And I don't know about you, but I have learned over the years what I NEED to have with me at those games where we could spend up to 4 hours in the bleachers.
So I've compiled a list of my game day bag must-haves!

1. Sunglasses
There is nothing worse than having to stare into the sun for hours during a game because you forgot them at home. I've been there and it's the WORST! I will also include sunscreen in this category, whether it's a hot or cold game, because your skin is so important! (this is of course, if your husband coach's an outdoor sport)
2. Snacks
These are in my purse at all times because I suffer from Hanger. Or should I say, everyone else who is near me suffers when I suffer from Hanger? My baddd...
3. Noise-makers
I am known at our school as the "cowbell lady" or also the "crazy lady!" I get LOUD at our games, and that is my way of showing my support to my husband and our "boys." If there was ever a time when I forgot my cowbell, I think everyone in the stands would notice, or think I just didn't come to the game that week. Ha!
4. Portable phone charger
This is a new addition to my game day bag because there have been a few night games now where I realize my phone is at 10%, which means I can't take as many pictures/videos, which is a major tragedy! So I am trying to remember this addition when packing my game day bag these days.
5. Chapstick or lipgloss
This is necessary for the hot games AND the cold games. Personally, I have a chapstick addiction, so I don't go anywhere without something on hand.
6. Water!
Whether you bring an un-opened bottle with you, or buy it when you are there. This is super important, especially if you are jumping up and down for half the game like I am. Our first home game this year someone passed out from the heat and dehydration, so that has been a good reminder for me of how important this is for game day!
7. Supplies for the kids
I've seen our coach wives who are moms bring lots of different toys and trucks to games to keep the kids entertained. Of course, a change of clothes and extra diapers is always a good idea, as well!
Other items that are great to bring to games are padded bleacher seats, pony-tail holders, and more SNACKS!
If you are at a school that requires clear bags, I recommend this bag and customizable strap from Pennant Accessories. In fact, I have a discount code that is good until the end of September 2019 to help you save on your purchase. These bags are great for stadium events, concerts, and festivals. Even if you don't need a clear bag for your games, it's still super cute!
Use discount code CWL25 to save 25% on your entire purchase! I also have a contest coming up in the month of October, so stay tuned for that! You can find their website here or find them on Instagram here.
What are some other items that are in your game day bag??
