Burlap Football Door-Hanger

Hobbies. Do you have them? This is something that can really help coach wives get through the season without pulling their hair out. ;) In any situation, whether you are a coach wife in season or not, it is so important to have some down time, doing something for yourself that you enjoy!

Yesterday I was challenged to write down 5 hobbies that had nothing to do with my job as a fitness coach. This was tough!

If I were to list 5 hobbies they would have to be (in no particular order) sports (watching and playing), crafting, watching Netflix (that's a hobby, right?), traveling, and exercising.

What are some of yours?

A few weeks ago I decided to COMBINE two of my hobbies, crafting and Netflix, to make this cute little door hanger! I would have included a "wine-tasting" but I was actually following the 21 Day Fix at the time. Where my fellow FIXERS at?!

Anyways, heere is the finished product!

So I followed that for the most part, except when it came to painting ON the football. I wanted to have something I could use for the years to come and something that would be easy to inter-change our future team colors.

I chose to use our last name initial as part of the design and showed our team colors through the ribbon I used. I also didn't have spray starch like the instructions called for, so I just went without, and it seems to be working out fine! It was pretty easy and didn't take long- about the length of 2 Netflix shows ;)
